- Good Movie, Good MusicI really loved the movie and decided to buy the deluxe-edition soundtrack CD and I'm happy I did. I wish some of the songs were on karaoke, too. A lot of people can relate to the movie, myself included.

- And Bad Sings TooI have already give kudos to Jeff Bridges for his Oscar-winning performance in Crazy Hearts elsewhere so we need not go into that one in detail. That one was easy. See it. Why? Well, if for no other reason that Jeff Bridges finally won an Academy Award for his lead role as Bad Blake in it, a role that he has been waiting for about forty years to cash in on. Every since I first saw Bridges as Duane Jackson in the screen version of Larry MacMurtry's great novel of the New West, "The Last Picture Show", ... Read More

- Great movie, great soundtrackIf you like "Crazy Heart," particularly the music in it, then you'll undoubtedly like this soundtrack. Jeff Bridges doesn't have a great voice, but then the same thing is true of lots of C&W stalwarts: e.g., Steve Earle, Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, and so on. Colin Ferrell actually does have a good voice, and together they make good (not great) music. We thought the CD was well worth the money.

- Crazy Heart SoundtrackIt was nice to hear the "old style" country come out in this soundtrack. Both Jeff Bridges and Coli Farrell performed surprisingly well on their cuts. The mix of old country with Blue Grass and Folk music was a good combination. I highly recommend this soundtrack to anyone that likes the older country sound. BTW....The movie was good too....not great but told a nice simple story.

- Pleasant, thoughtful musicThis was very nice music to listen to. I liked it well more than the movie, even though I am not a regular listener of country music.
